On December 5, 2020, I decided to start Tom Talks Taxes. My first edition started with the following introduction:
I created this Substack newsletter in order to share important federal tax information with the tax community at-large. We are not going to focus on a specific topic or theme — solely topics that interest me and I think you’ll find useful. No continuing education credits, no footnotes — just good information.
I think we went above and beyond that goal: Tom Talks Taxes has 6,500+ subscribers, and it is all thanks to your ongoing support. I am grateful.
To celebrate five years, I’m hosting a special event to share information and opportunities while promoting collaboration in the tax industry.
5th Anniversary Event
The following sessions will be on Friday, December 5, 2025 via the Zoom Events platform. All times are in Pacific Time (add three hours for Eastern Time).
