Thank you for all of these reminders. I am so guilty on most of these. I am changing my work habits to stay healthier, take more breaks and not work so many hours.
Yes! Such great reminders. My husband is retiring at the end of the year. He will take over my share of the household duties so that when I come home from work, I am actually done with all work!!
Thank you Tom. In this newsletter what are your thoughts on those of us who are Annual Filing Season Program preparers? I understand my limitations however many times an 8821 allows me to handle the issue. I am aware of my limitations when encountering a return that prohibits my preparation of the return. I am also developing
a net work for referrals. I would also like to ask how one develops a relationship with a mentor. I am willing to pay for this relationship however thus far I have had no success.
I strongly encourage AFSPers to become EAs! Representation work is my favorite aspect of tax, as it enables you to handle all IRS matters for a taxpayer.
Thanks for encouragement but this dog is “too old to hunt” at this point! Very excited about mentorship opportunity. I predominantly prepare returns for younger couples and retirees with just a few S Corps and a Partnership. I also prepare quite a few Schedule Cs as well. Thank you again! Not sure I understand difference between inner circle and round table but am confident you will expand the definition!

Thanks again Tom for helping me stay centered and grounded in my work.

You are spot on with your points. You should publish from time to time.

I have a mentorship program currently (Inner Circle), and will be announcing another one (Roundtable) soon.

More info to come on those programs.
But it’s not too late to get the EA!
